Chamon Takes a Delicious Turn: Authentic Japanese Fare Arrives
Chamon: Chinatown’s New Tendon and Onigiri Destination
Chinatown’s culinary scene is heating up! Chamon, once known for its matcha offerings, has undergone a delicious transformation. This new establishment is now a haven for authentic Japanese comfort food, specializing in tendon (tempura rice bowls) and handcrafted onigiri.
Tendon Perfection: Indulge in the artistry of tendon, or ten-don, is a Japanese rice bowl topped with a symphony of tempura seafood and vegetables, all bathed in a savory broth. Chamon elevates this classic dish with expert preparation and high-quality ingredients.
Onigiri Delights: Complement your tendon experience with a selection of Chamon’s handcrafted onigiri. These delightful rice triangles come filled with a variety of flavors, from classic to adventurous. Be sure to arrive early, as their daily onigiri selection is limited.
Grand Opening Success: Chamon has taken Chinatown by storm since opening its doors. Long wait times have been the norm since the grand opening and as word spreads about its delicious tendon and onigiri, we anticipate even busier days ahead.
Chamon is located in the Seoul Plaza, which, with Japanese eateries Kabuto, Nakamura Ya, Monta, Raku, Zen Curry, and now Chamon, is easily a top “Little Tokyo” in itself.
