Chinatown Vegas wishes everyone a happy and safe St. Patricks Day. This weather this week ahead is still colder than normal for this time of year. Although days will reach into the 60s, they dip down to the upper 40s at night, so if visiting, dress accordingly.
It was a great night for Asians at the Academy Awards. Congrats to Michelle Yeoh. The first Asian woman to win an Oscar at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night.

Does Chinatown have a casino or gambling hall?
Lisa Marie,
Chinatown does not have a casino. The closest ones are the Gold Coast and the Rio on West Flamingo Road and Treasure Island/ Mirage, Wynn/Encore, and Venetian Palazzo on the strip. Krung Siam 50% off Tuesdays and Wednesdays

All You Can Eat Fish & Chips Every Monday
British Pub Crown and Anchor, ( Little Crown) is continuing its all-you-can-eat beer battered fish and chips special every Monday night. Beginning at 5 PM, Fish & Chips lovers can eat until their hearts are content for only $19.95 per person. Located in the strip mall with no name at the southeast corner of Spring Mountain and Decatur
Kangnam Square
An extra hour to enjoy Colombian fare on the weekends
Colombian restaurant and cafe, Arecely will open at 9 am on the weekends, an hour earlier than before. The restaurant and cafe serve authentic home-style Colombian fare and is best known for its arroz con polo, (arguably the best in the city) soups such as mondongo, ajiaco, sancocho de res, steaks, and seafood. The breakfast special calentado de la casa is one of the best breakfast bargains in the city and is not to be missed.

New menu items at District One
District One, the Asian/Vietnamese restaurant that excels at combining the best of the east and the west has added two new dishes to its menu.
Spring Mountain Center
A Korean Restaurant will replace Lau and Oc by Pho real
Permits were pulled for a new Korean restaurant that will replace the Vietnamese spot that has recently closed. It’s slated to be named 777 Korean Restaurant. We don’t have more information at the time of this post but will update you as we learn more. The Pho Real on Spring Mountain Rd is still open.
