Although foot traffic has dipped slightly with many focusing on the elections, our community remains as lively as ever, buoyed by the pleasant weather with lows in the 50s and highs reaching the mid-80s—perfect for exploring Chinatown’s unique shops, eateries, and cultural spots.

Chinatown Plaza and Desert Breeze Park have already experienced record voter turnouts, showing our community’s dedication to making every vote count. As Election Day approaches, let’s all keep this momentum going—exercise your right to vote and make your voice heard!

New Dining Era in Chinatown

As we reported last November, Shoo Loong Kan Hotpot is set to revitalize the historic Chinatown Plaza. The highly anticipated remodeling is slated to begin in the coming months, bringing a fresh and exciting dining experience to Chinatown.

Clarifying the New Chinatown Pedestrian Pathway

In response to recent questions about the Chinatown-Shanghai Plaza pedestrian bridge: the new crossing will be a signalized crosswalk, similar to the one on Flamingo just west of Arville, rather than a raised bridge. This improvement will help streamline foot traffic and enhance safety for everyone moving between these popular destinations.
