Puradak Confirmed—Korean Fried Chicken Glory Hits Spring Oaks
Get ready for a flavor explosion at Spring Oaks Shopping Center! The rumors we teased last week are now golden and crispy—Chinatown Vegas can confirm that the Korean fried chicken concept joining Tous les Jours is Puradak, a name that’s about to set taste buds ablaze.
Puradak is landing in Suite A, right next to Tous les Jours in Suite B. Known for its perfectly seasoned, shatteringly crisp chicken and bold sauces, Puradak has a cult following that stretches far beyond Korea. We broke the news about Tous les Jours first, and now we’re sizzling to announce this iconic addition. A “Bobae Noodle House” sign above the door hints at more deliciousness in Suite A.
Bobae Noodle House and Puradak Korean Fried Chicken look to be sharing suite A. Tous Les Tours is B. Will C be for Petrol Head? Will it be in the back of the building? Or will you have access from all three> Stay Tuned
Could Puradak and Bobae Noodles be sharing Suite A’s spotlight? We’re digging into this juicy mystery, because this combo sounds like a Chinatown game-changer!
Meanwhile, the Petrol Head speakeasy intrigue is heating up. With Suite A buzzing and Suite B claimed, will it sneak through Suite C, reimagine Suite B’s front, or surprise us entirely? Spring Oaks is fast becoming Chinatown’s culinary and nightlife epicenter, and we’re all in for the ride!
Casa de Raku Unveils a Stunning New Sign in Seoul Plaza
Seoul Plaza’s Casa de Raku is glowing brighter than ever with a freshly installed sign that’s turning heads! The new signage, lighting up the night above the brick-and-tile storefront at 5040 W Spring Mountain Rd, Suite 3, features a sleek bull logo and bold “CASA DE RAKU” lettering, with “Tapas & Wine Restaurant” in the elegant script below—perfectly capturing the Spanish flair of this Chinatown gem.
From chef Mitsuo Endo—a James Beard Award finalist behind Aburiya Raku—this tapas bar has been a hit since opening in late 2023, replacing the beloved Sweets Raku. Swing by Thursday to Saturday, 6 PM to 2 AM, for pintxos, tapas like croquetas de jamón, and Spanish wines in a cozy, brick-accented space. The new sign is a beacon for late-night bites in Chinatown’s “Little Tokyo” hub!
From Our Chinatown to Little Tokyo in LA
We still remember the thrill when we first broke the news about the very first official One Piece Café choosing Las Vegas Chinatown as its inaugural U.S. location! Since then, it’s been incredible to watch this spot thrive, bringing joy to fans from near and far.
Now, we’re bursting with pride to share that our hometown success story is setting sail for new horizons! The One Piece Café is expanding, with its second location opening in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, on San Pedro Street, taking over the former Dragon Bowl space. Seeing one of our flourishes—and knowing the One Piece magic that started here is spreading further—is a powerful reminder of the creativity and spirit that make our Chinatown shine!
New Features: Shop Local Sunday
Missing the bustling markets of NYC, Boston, Philly, San Francisco, or LA’s Chinatowns? We’ve got you covered—Vegas style! Sure, summer heat keeps our produce, meats, and seafood indoors, but step inside any of our seven Asian supermarkets, and you’ll find shelves bursting with everything you’d expect—and more.
Picture this: if we laid out just the produce, meat, and seafood sections, they’d stretch both sides of Canal Street and beyond!
