Excellent food and experience
8oz has become one of my favorite KBBQ spots in the valley. It is typical for us to get an order of pork belly and beef tongue. For our sides, I always order mul naengmyeon (cold noodles) to go with my KBBQ – it’s a perfect combination! Hot pieces of fatty meat mixed with tangy cold noodles! In addition to the KBBQ, they have a variety of banchan (fish cake, pickled radish wraps, kimchi, potato salad, marinated jalapeno/onion, and deep-fried zucchini with eggs) for you to try. They serve a regular salad and a green onion salad with bean sprouts. There is also an option to order a bowl of rice, which I believe is also free. The last time I came here, I ordered Combo A, which included grilled pork bulgogi, beef brisket, and pork belly. Our combo included a veggie skewer, steamed egg, seafood pancake, kimchi stew, and best of all, cheese corn and cheese fondue! I’m a complete sucker for melted cheese, so these definitely elevated my meal experience. The meat quality is always amazing, and I loved the tenderness of the outside skirt and the flavor of the pork bulgogi. You get a lot of food for a really good price in this combo! Not to mention, the service is great as well. We are always checked up on by someone. We always had someone help us cook as well. COVID measures were excellent, and certain tables were properly spaced. Location itself is extremely clean. In the restaurants, staff members wore masks and there were sanitizing stations. Parking is very easy to find, and the restaurant is located right off a major road. I recommend coming here after 10 PM for half off the premium cuts. Definitely worth checking out! You should definitely give it a try if you haven’t already.
