Chinatown
Where is Chinatown?
Las Vegas has a Chinatown? Which casino is it in?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’ve heard it all. But the fact is, Las Vegas does have a Chinatown and it’s amazing.
And guess what? It’s NOT in a casino.
Where in Las Vegas is Chinatown?
Chinatown Vegas is just west of the Las Vegas strip and runs for 3+ miles on and around Spring Mountain Rd. Spring Mountain Rd is the main strip of Chinatown that runs east-west between Interstate 15 and Rainbow Blvd.
Major crossroads with the heaviest concentration of stores and businesses are:
Spring Mountain and Valley View
Spring Mountain and Arville St.

Across from the Wynn, the Palazzo, and Treasure Island is the Fashion Show Mall. That is the route to Chinatown. Spring Mountain Rd is the continuation of Sands Ave once you cross Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas Blvd is the dividing line between the eastern-named streets and the western-named street. For example, You are heading west on East Tropicana Ave., and as soon as you cross Las Vegas Blvd it becomes “West Tropicana Ave.”.
Let’s go
From anywhere on the strip, take the Deuce or the Strip Express and get off at the Fashion Show Mall/Wynn stop or walk if you are at that end of the strip ( Trump, Wynn, Encore, Palazzo, Venetian, Treasure Island, and Mirage are a quick and easy walk to the 203. The Fashion Show Mall is located across from the Wynn Hotel which is on the east and Treasure Island on the Southwest corner. The bus stop can be found at the northwest corner of Spring Mountain Rd / Las Vegas Blvd
Can I walk there?
From the strip? Yeah, but not really. As is most of Las Vegas (non-strip), Chinatown is not really the best place to walk to. If it’s your first time visiting, you will want to plan your visits before venturing out.
Uber or Lyft?
The cost from most strip resorts via Uber or Lyft is approximately $12 and is the preferred way because if you are driving, parking can be tight.
Although the walk is not nice and the weather is too hot most of the time, it’s a 30+ minute walk to Chinatown.

No Dragon Gate or Entrance… Yet.
In a few minutes of heading east ( approximately 1 mile), You will start to see signs that you are near and will see the first of a series of strip malls.
The 3+ mile stretch of Spring Mountain Rd known as “Chinatown Vegas” begins here. A series of strip malls mixed with free-standing buildings, many with architecture from the Tang Dynasty grace the street.
